We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, technical Recruiter with excellent communication skills and relationship building capabilities. The ability to engage people in conversation, pique curiosity, and carefully evaluate technical skills and culture fit are a must. The ideal candidate will have the fundamental knowledge and experience in managing the recruiting life cycle and communicating that knowledge with the business units in a thoughtful and consistent manner. They will have proven expertise in the technical recruiting space, recruiting at all levels in order to meet and exceed hiring manager expectations.


  • Gather job requirements from hiring managers and develop knowledge of customer groups to effectively target recruitment efforts
  • Execute the recruitment life cycle while effectively utilizing the process, systems and tools
  • Develop and maintain effective sourcing channels, fully leveraging all resources such as candidates in existing ATS, employee referrals, and social media, and other outreach efforts
  • Facilitate candidate assessment, including scheduling of phone screens and interviews and providing timely feedback to all involved parties
  • Make employment recommendations based on information developed through prescreens and interviews insuring the compensation offer is competitive and equitable
  • Negotiate and extend offers
  • Manage recruitment workflow steps and applicant information, including EEO tracking
  • Provide updates to hiring managers on status of sourcing and applicant status


  • U.S. Citizenhip required
  • 8 years experience full-life cycle technical recruiting (sourcing, screening, tracking, negotiating and closing) in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to network independently of any recruiting sites, present an opportunity, and profile skill sets and motivations of prospective candidates
  • Basic understanding of and ability to screen candidates for technical skills such as, Linux, configuration management software, CI tools, programming and scripting languages, network engineer and security principles, virtualization technologies, Java application servers, OO principals and Agile with Scrum software engineering experience
  • Current or prior experience recruiting for technical requirements including, but not limited to, software engineers, network engineers, security engineers and systems engineers
  • Knowledge of recruiting for the DoD community or experience with hiring cleared resources preferred
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems. iCIMS experience preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with good judgment
